Stage One Media didn’t start out as Stage One Media. In fact, in 1989 it was just John working as a freelance video preditor (producer/editor), at Bristol Myers Squibb. From writing scripts, pushing them through the prompter, and using white-out to make changes on the fly, John partnered with a few people throughout the years to create sales and marketing videos. And this was back in the day where you had to record on VHS tapes and mail them to everyone! In 1992, John started working with Mead Johnson Nutrition, continuing to  create marketing and in house videos. He worked with multiple departments and learned how to work with all areas from the production line to the President's office. In 1999, John proposed to provide a custom communications solution  that would provide efficiency, brand protection, and marketing materials rather than out-sourcing to agencies with limited experience with the Mead Johnson brands. He already had the right team for the job and the right time was then.

 

Stage One Media was born by expanding on the video production service, adding a graphics team, and continuing to grow as Mead Johnson’s needs grew. By 2010, Stage One had acquired the printing, audits, and advertising support needs and continued to grow the team. During this time, Stage One also was able to start branching out with other brands and companies setting the stage for expanding into the full-service agency world. Continuing to grow and expand has come in the shape of adding package design services, custom design services, and media services. 

 

The team continued to grow in expertise as everyone is a professional at their craft – sales and growth come from discovering each other’s strengths and knowing when and how to grow. We’re not a sales team focused on the bottom dollar. We operate as guardians of your brand and we work to give you what you need when you need it.
